EXECUTIVE SEMINAR: The College of Business Administration at FIU is offering a five-day intensive e-business seminar for executives from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. starting Sept. 18 and running through Sept. 22 in the Roz & Cal Kovens Conference Center on FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus, Biscayne Boulevard at Northeast 151st Street. ECUADORIAN FUSION: Fusion Networks, a provider of one-to-one Internet marketing software, portal technology and content in Miami, will provide software and portal platforms to the Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce and the Ecuadorian Consulate. JOINT MARKET: Telefonica B2B, a business to business portal serving the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets, has formed an alliance with IBM. E-FUEL: Miami Springs-based World Fuel Services Corp. — an aviation and marine fuel marketing company for more than 1,100 airports and seaports worldwide — launched its redesigned website at wfscorp.com. VITA MOVE: Vitacost.com, an online wholesaler of nutritional supplements and resources for what executives call nutra-ceutical information, has relocated from Springfield, IL, to Boynton Beach at 2049 High Ridge Road. Executives said the location was chosen over sites in 12 other cities.

MORTGAGE MARRIAGE: Sunrise-based Mortgage.com, a provider of e-commerce infrastructure for the online mortgage industry, has formed an alliance with Centric Financial, a leading provider of investment-linked mortgage products in Charlotte, NC. Mortgage will provide Centric with processing, approval, financing and closing of mortgage loans for its financial strategies mortgage program, promoters said.

MEXICAN MARKETPLACE: Miami-based Asista.com, a business-to-business digital marketplace for the purchase and sale of indirect goods and service in Latin America, has formed a partnership with Axa, a Mexican conglomerate of companies involved in the electric cables, transformers, automotive and lighting industries. Through the agreement AXA will participate as an anchor buyer in Asista's marketplace in Mexico, promoters said.
