Former auto dealer Robert A. Zinn now is in charge at Akerman Senterfitt, the state's largest law firm

A man with a background in business and legal practice was appointed April 19 president of Miami law firm Akerman Senterfitt, a new position in which he has responsibility for heading the day-to-operations of its offices here and 11 others throughout the US.
He is Robert Zinn, 46, who once worked in the family automobile business, went on to be the owner of a Mazda dealership and joined Akerman Senterfitt in 1996, becoming in 2005 chief operating shareholder of the law firm, Florida's largest with about 500 attorneys and consultants.
Mr. Zinn was interviewed shortly after assuming his new executive role by Miami Today international editor Michael Hayes.
