Gables Chamber chair Carolina Rendeiro working to promote the City Beautiful as an "international city within a city'

An international focus creeps into all of Carolina Rendeiro's endeavors. The Portuguese-American has just begun her term as chairman of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. A main thrust will be to market the Gables as an international destination for both business and tourism, she said. Outbound missions to other countries are to play a key role. Greening business in the Gables and engaging young chamber members, she said, are to also be priorities.
In running her own company, Ms. Rendeiro helps to foster local, national and international business here as head of Business Centers International, which offers workspace to growing businesses, many of which are testing the waters in the Coral Gables and Brickell markets.
She was interviewed in her capacities as both a chairman and a CEO by Miami Today staff writer Risa Polansky.
