Peter Prieto takes chairmanship of Holland + Knight Litigation Section as state is set for growing number of subprime lending cases
After serving as the executive partner of Holland + Knight's Miami office, Peter Prieto has been tapped to head the firm's national Litigation Section. He oversees 16 practice groups and 444 lawyers across the country, as well as co-chairs the firm's national White Collar Defense Team.
Mr. Prieto began his career with Holland + Knight in 1985 and worked there two years before serving as an assistant US attorney in Miami for eight years. He rejoined the firm in 1996. He still carries a caseload despite his new national responsibilities, focusing on complex litigation, large breach of contract cases and class action defense, as well as representing companies and executives in criminal investigations.
