MAD ARTS FESTIVAL
   The seventh season of the two-day "Mad Hatter Arts Festival" returns to Coconut Grove. The festival features "Chalk It Up!" street painting performance inspired by Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass" and "Watch Art Happen," live artists producing masterpieces. Several hat contests are held, a participatory drum circle and a showing of the classic "Alice in Wonderland" is screened alongside a picnic. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 8 p.m. film screening Oct. 29. Through Oct. 30. Event takes place at The Barnacle, 3485 Main Hwy, Coconut Grove and along the sidewalks of Main Highway. Details: www.madhatterartsfestival.com.
