SPEAKER SERIES
   WPLG-TV Local 10 newscaster Calvin Hughes is featured in the Miami Dade College Journalism Speaker Series. Mr. Hughes was one of the first journalists in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, after a 7.0 earthquake struck on Jan. 12, 2010. He has returned to Haiti nearly a dozen times.    In celebration of National Women's History Month, the 24th annual "In the Company of Women Awards" celebration recognizes 13 local women for contributions in their fields and to the Miami-Dade community.
