SARTE PLAY
   MDC's Prometeo Theatre presents a student production of "A Puerta Cerrada (a closed door)," by existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre. The play tells of three people condemned to hell for their crimes who find themselves in a single-room with no way out. Gradually, they learn the real source of their eternal damnation — each other. Sartre, wrote "No Exit" in 1944, and through this piece perhaps best conveys his well-known line of thinking that "Hell is other people." CHANGE OF PACE
   GableStage presents "Time Stands Still" by Donald Margulies, directed by Joseph Adler; with Steve Garland, Betsy Graver, Deborah Sherman and Gregg Weiner. Sarah and James, a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent, have been together nine years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. When her battlefield injuries force them to return to New York, they find their future together threatened by the prospect of a more conventional life. 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays.    The Area Stage Company presents the musical "Spring Awakening."    The Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department presents a free, live theatrical performance of the popular children's classic "Peter and the Wolf."
