CHILDREN Sunday 7/1 MANGO MAGICFairchild Tropical Botanic Garden hosts a "Mango Munchkins Cooking Class," where children ages 5 - 12 can learn how to create healthy meals using mangos. Noris Ledesma, curator of tropical fruit, teaches participants how to make mango popsicles and smoothies. Ten-year-old Paloma Fernandez is teaching her peers how to make a healthy mango pizza, a recipe she created herself. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables.
