COOL JAZZ
   The Bass Museum of Art music series "Hot Nights Cool Jazz" presents The Brian Murphy trio; consisting of Murphy on piano, John Yarling on drums and Chuck Bergeron on bass. HAITIAN JAZZ
   The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami monthly concert series "Jazz at MOCA" presents trumpeter Jean Caze; preceded by a reading of two children's books by Haitian authors. Haitian-born, Miami resident Jean Caze has performed with Herbie Hancock, opened for the Wynton Marsalis Quartet, and played with the famed rock group Chicago. Following the book readings, children and their families will be able to make their own colorful paintings in the vibrant palette and style common to artwork from Haiti. 7 p.m. readings. 8 p.m. concert.
