| ART Friday 7/13 LATIN ARTVenezuelan artist and professional theatre and television writer, producer and director Ibrahim Guerra displays a selection of paintings for InterContinental at Doral Miami's 2012 Artist Series. His paintings are an attempt to capture different views of his work in theater, not as a playwright, but from the standpoint of dramatic conflict between characters. Mr. Guerra uses the physical space of lines, planes and volumes, of several variations in size, shape, color and density to create a confrontation of physical elements representing a sense of theatrical reality. 6 p.m. InterContinental at Doral Miami, 2505 NW 87th Ave., Doral.
