Prestige adds 18 cruise calls at Port Miami

    Port Everglades' loss is Port Miami's gain.
   Prestige Cruise Holdings, parent of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, has penned a new contract with Port Miami that makes the seaport "the exclusive home port for both Oceania vessels and Regent vessels in South Florida," said Miami-Dade Deputy Mayor Jack Osterholt.
   "We're excited," Port Miami Director Bill Johnson told the County Regional Transportation and Social Services Committee last week after the committee had approved the pact with the cruise line, an agreement that passed the full county commission on Tuesday. "Thank you for your support."
