Stephen Nimer targets worldwide destination for treatment as he heads UM's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center
Stephen Nimer assumed the role of director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami after working at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for nearly 20 years.
With the goal of making Sylvester a worldwide destination for cancer treatment, Dr. Nimer is settling into his new position and the unique South Florida lifestyle.
Miami Today reporter Laura Stace interviewed Dr. Nimer in his office on the day that marked his six-month anniversary of becoming director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer
Center.
