Shopping center giant seeks buys here

The Fifth & Alton complex — one of the few retail hulks in South Beach — was the latest shopping center purchase in South Florida for Edens, but a top company executive said it shouldn't be the last.
In an interview with Miami Today, Edens President and Chief Investment Officer Jodie McLean said the company is interested in other properties in Greater Miami. She wouldn't disclose details but indicated that announcements might be forthcoming.
