MUSIC & MOVEMENT
Karen Peterson and Dancers, a mixed-abilities dance company in the southeast, performs live with the Crosstown String Quartet and The Miami String Project.
The first part of the performance, "Potpourria," features original choreography by Peterson, set to music by Vivaldi, Bach, Britten, Grieg, Petersburski, Summers and Piazzola. The second half, "In the Moment," features never-before-seen works of choreography set to the music of The Lover's Waltz composed by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, and The Chinese Folk Tunes by Bright Sheng. 8 p.m. Feb. 2. 3 p.m. Feb. 3.
