Hospitals see $1.9 billion Medicare cuts

    Miami-Dade County hospitals face more than $1.9 billion in Medicare cuts over the next decade, according to data from the Florida Hospital Association obtained Tuesday by Miami Today.
   A majority of the cuts — more than $1.6 billion — are expected to result from Medicare reimbursement reductions to hospitals under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act — better known as Obamacare.
